In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, BluePay is committed to safeguarding personal information of both payers (drivers) and payees (guards).
2. Data We Collect
We collect payer emails strictly for transactions receipts, accounting reconciliation, and retro-claimable history tracking. Guard profiles, photos, and phone numbers are collected with consent for platform ledger functionality.
3. Third-Party Disclosures
Payment information is processed entirely via encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant channels provided by Payfast. We do not sell, rent, or distribute personal information to third parties.
